Physical Education

Physical Education (PE) is a subject that aims to educate students through physical activities, enhancing their physical competence, knowledge of movement and safety, and ability to lead an active and healthy lifestyle. It also fosters students' confidence and develops important skills like collaboration, communication, creativity, critical thinking, and aesthetic appreciation. These qualities, along with the promotion of positive values and attitudes, form a solid foundation for lifelong learning. In our school, the annual swimming gala and sports day are significant whole-school events that showcase athletes' physical prowess, perseverance, and sportsmanship.

In addition to the core curriculum, we introduce new trendy sports like mirror fitness, spikeball, and mölkky during PE lessons, allowing students to explore their talents in various ways. To promote a positive and healthy lifestyle, we organize informative talks through Other Learning Experiences (OLE) lessons. These efforts ensure that students receive a well-rounded education focused on physical well-being, essential life skills, and the cultivation of positive values.
