The subject of Home Economics aims to refine students’ essential life skills and spark their interest in cooking and needlework as well as fostering their aesthetic conception in household art. This subject teaches students to use the knowledge they learnt to improve their home management skills. Students are lectured the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and balanced eating habits. Our teachers stimulate students’ creativity and emphasize the importance of value education, nurturing students’ awareness of caring, cooperation, responsibility and appreciation in both the cooking and needlework lessons. The Home Economics panel also collaborated with other panels such as the Visual Arts Panel and STEM Panel to provide students with brand-new learning experiences.
