Wheelchair Fencing Workshop
26.Feb.2026

The Physical Education Department hosted a Wheelchair Fencing Workshop, aligning with this academic year’s school educational theme, "Cultivate Kindness, Illuminate Hearts."

Designed with a profound educational vision, the initiative successfully broadened students' horizons by introducing them to the extraordinary global achievements of the Hong Kong Wheelchair Fencing Team, most notably the legendary Paralympic triumphs of Yu Chui Yee and the stellar, award-winning performance of Tong Nga Ting at the 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities in December 2025.

Through this meaningful encounter, students gained a rare hands-on opportunity to wear professional fencing gear and engage in dynamic mini-tournaments, allowing them to experience the intense focus and physical demands of the sport from an entirely new perspective.

We highly commend our students for their exceptional courage, curiosity, and willingness to embrace new challenges during these practical trials.

Furthermore, the school community extends its most heartfelt congratulations to the Hong Kong Wheelchair Fencing Team for their continuous triumphs on the international stage, as their indomitable spirit serves as a magnificent beacon of inspiration for us all.

We are fully committed to offering an all-round education enhanced with the Gospel spirit and the virtues of humility, respect, kindness and love.
