In August 2025, our Chinese Orchestra collaborated with King’s College and Sun Kei Secondary School for a 7-day music tour in Melbourne, Australia. The tour aimed to promote cultural exchange and musical collaboration.

Each day of the tour was filled with engaging activities, including city walks and sightseeing. Participants experienced the vibrant atmosphere and stunning scenery of Melbourne, enriching their understanding of Australian culture.

A significant highlight of the tour was the concert held in collaboration with the Chao Feng Chinese Orchestra at Ivanhoe Girls' Grammar School. This event marked the 43rd anniversary of the Chao Feng Chinese Orchestra. After months of meticulous rehearsals, our joint school orchestra performed on stage, showcasing their dedication and talent.

In addition to musical performances, the tour provided valuable opportunities for cultural immersion. Members of the orchestra engaged with local communities, enhancing their appreciation for Australian traditions and lifestyles.

The music tour to Melbourne was a resounding success, fostering strong ties between the participating schools and enriching the cultural experiences of all members involved.
